Weather Pro Support for iPhone

The forecast view is the first screen you'll see when launching Weather Pro. It defaults to Berlin, Germany on initial launch, but will always show the last location you've been looking at.

The title bar shows your selected city name and the date and time the latest weather observation in the given region was made. Right below the title, the last observations values are shown. You'll see a comprehensive weather icon, the temperature, which is configurable to Fahrenheit and Celsius, a wind indicator showing direction and speed of the latest reported wind. Below those main items, you'll find various weather descriptors you might find useful.

The smaller cells below the last observation give a forecast overview of the coming seven days. You can scroll down in the view to see more days. Touching the detail disclosure button (>) will give you an overview of the given day with even more parameters. Clicking a day cell will present the hourly overview.

The hourly overview gives you a forecast for every three hours where available. Scroll up or down to see more hours of a given day. Click an hour to see more details, or simply click 'Back' in the title view to get back to the start screen.

The combined Search and Favorites View is a very important tool to switch the location of interest. It consists of three mayor input elements.

• The search input field
• The locate me button in the lower right hand corner
• The bookmarks button in the lower left hand corner.

The search input field displays a keyboard when clicked. Simply enter the City of your interest and click 'search'.

By default it displays your favorites. Clicking on a favorite cell will take you right to the city overview.

You can move and delete your favorites by pressing the edit button.

Adding favorites is simple. You just need to search for favorite location with the search entry field or the locate me button. After locating it in the search results, press the disclosure button on the right of the result cell. A short animation will take the cell down to the end of your favorites list.

Some regions of the world have radar and satellite cover. This is indicated by the Tab Bar items being active. Simply click on the radar/satellite Buttons, to see those. The maps will display the country or continent of the point of interest you've selected.

To animate the view, just tap the map. Tap it again to stop. You can also single step the pictures by clicking the skip forward/back buttons, or slide the slider to animate at the speed you like best.

You can scroll the map to the sides, or zoom by pinching it with two fingers.

If you are uncomfortable with the default units provided, you can choose various speed and temperature units. If you have an iPhone or iPod in a dock, you may want to keep it from dimming the screen, so you always have the most recent weather date in sight. Disable the screen saver to be in the know of your POI weather conditions.
